Hi! I'm Ellen. I'm a trauma therapist, and I just launched a podcast, ROAR Healing Stories, all about how there are many different ways to heal. I'll be scheduling guests for season two in September & October, so if you'd like to share your healing story with strangers on the Internet, please let me know and I can send you the info when I'm ready for guests. https://roarfindyourfierce.substack.com/podcast
In the meantime, I'm looking for folks who write about healing trauma for a monthly-ish cross-post feature, especially if you write from a de-pathologized and somewhat vulnerable lens for everyday people, rather than for other mental health professionals. It'd be awesome if you were also willing to cross-post one of my essays or share about the podcast with your letter.
I'm open to hearing more! Sound baths, reiki, craniosacral massage, excellent yoga classes & therapy have all been part of my healing journey. I personally don't need an RCT evidence base to feel like something can be healing. At the same time, my ethos is that energetic healing modalities are great for having a well-rounded wellness routine, and they don't replace Western medicine where it's needed.
I use to do yoga I gave it up for many years then I started doing relaxing yoga with my tablet in the nursing home to heal. I would like to collaborate with you co-author with you on free substack. I also write biographies recipes and poems etcetera plus I copy lyrics from songs. Karen Lynn Greiner karengreiner66@gmail.com
I write about the complex relationship between art and health. I believe deeply that art heals but also that it's not as simple as that - health can impact our creativity in many ways and I help people figure out what works for them.
Related to this, I write a lot about therapeutic fiber arts. And I interview artists, including offering the option to answer questions only in sound or images since talking about trauma can be so re-triggering.
Reach out if any of that sounds interesting for podcast or crossposts.
I write about recovery from alcoholism, would love to discuss a cross-post/writing a post about my healing journey as it relates to trauma (most specifically forgiving myself for the trauma I put myself through/endured/was both a victim and active participant during my drinking days)
Hi Kristen! I'd love to hear more and share your story on the podcast! I'll be scheduling guests in September/October for season two and will circle back then!
Marcy let me know about this, Stacy! I write a haiku every day based upon the tarot card which comes up. I will write one for the Solstice and send it along. Yay!
Hi everyone! I'm Miha, self-reclamation facilitator & a book lover. My newsletter The Blue Chair is for sensitive women in midlife and beyond find and cultivate their inner sanctuary. I'm looking to share stories of women who have been on a journey of "coming home" to themselves!
Loved this Marcy and I think quarterly is good 👍 I don't know about anyone else, but the new months seem to come around so quick.. I can't keep up with it all! 🥴😄
Same here, I’m always surprised it’s time to send one out again! I feel like I just did it! I’m thinking quarterly gives people more space to develop something from any connections they make. Less pressure overall.
Hi. I am a writer and photographer. I post fiction, lit crit, film critique, poetry, a memoir serialized and a lot of photography- mostly self portraits that go with my memoir, a work of seven years.
I also do ‘conversations’ with other artists- writers, poets and/or photographers and am looking for more artists to do conversations with. These are casual conversations done over zoom that are sort of free form— so it could go anywhere from discussing Hemingway to hairstyles or beer and `I like the flexibility to let the conversation go anywhere it leads to.
Hi, I'm Robin, and Wildlands is a creative revolution in healthcare, restoration and conservation. I lead collaborative community projects, https://robinmotzer.substack.com
I'm interested in collabs in podcasts, cross-posts and community on-line and in-person. I'm hosting an art-writing retreat in October. I also have monthly support meetings for you and your work and the next one is June 25, 1 pm-2:30 pm EDT, details in Wildlands.
Thank you for your work, Marcy and all of you! Nice to meet you all!
As for collabs - I am just getting back to SS and writing. I had to prepare to step away from psychotherapy for a few months to focus on my coaching gig.
I teach entrepreneurs about nervous system regulation, mindfulness and parts work (internal family systems) so I would love to collab with anyone who helps women *find their voice* whether that is through copy writing or speaking or works with the *enneagram* (could focus on the 1,2,3 type structures) or someone who does more *physical body work* and talks about working with your unique goals and sticking to them.
I’m open to guest Note swaps, live convos that can double as podcast episodes, co-created rituals or intuitive readings, and even witch-to-witch email threads if you like slow, sacred storytelling.
I’m especially looking to connect with creators who write about deconstruction, religious trauma, energetic sovereignty, and reclaiming power from systems that never served us.
Hi I'm Sophie. I have an interview series where I do written interviews with people who have an alternative lifestyle, like living off the grid or living in a tiny home or in a van, ...

Hi Ellen, I am actually sharing my healing story with strangers on the Internet and I am happy to share more.
Hi Selene, I anticipate booking guests for season two starting in September/October, so I'll circle back then!
I write about recovery from alcoholism, would love to discuss a cross-post/writing a post about my healing journey as it relates to trauma (most specifically forgiving myself for the trauma I put myself through/endured/was both a victim and active participant during my drinking days)

Perfect, thank you! Will look forward to connecting in fall!
I HAVE A WANT, I want to share a post about the Summer Solstice. That is the theme - the longest day of the year.
My challenge, share with me a haiku which I can include in a June 20th post. Deadline is June 18th - message your haiku to me personally.
Here is my Substack: https://stacyboone.substack.com/
I mostly write NF, mostly about outside but I like to hear the other voices in the room. Your haiku will be linked to your Substack page.
Limit'ish - 10 to 12 haikus.
Marcy let me know about this, Stacy! I write a haiku every day based upon the tarot card which comes up. I will write one for the Solstice and send it along. Yay!
Yeah to Marcy. I look forward to your haiku.
Love this! Solstice Haiku submitted 🙌🏻💕

My newsletter “Everything is Temporary” is about identity, illness, and the writing process.

I would love to collaborate with you by co-authoring pieces on those topics, or interviewing you if you are a chronically ill writer.
