Did you know I do this off the grid each month? Always looking for new kindred collaborators dependent on the editions direction and theme. Check out Mays!
I see you write about how art connects to mental health wellness. July's topic is going to be Parenting Nervous Systems. It's going to be a parent focused edition. I see you wrote about how hand crafts as a healing practice. I know as an adhd neurotype I find diamond painting to be one of the only things that quiets my brain. I wonder if you might be able to write an article/piece about crafting regulates the nervous system and the benefits of nd parents and kids crafting together. Autism and ADHD are inherited so its likely mom and dad share their kiddos neurotype. Its a way for the whole family to regulate together. Do you think you might want to write something like that for the July edition?
I'm not the right person to contribute to your newsletter because I'm not neurodivergent and it's also not my field of expertise, but I am interested in this space because some of my friends and colleagues are neurodiverse, so I thought I'd have a look and WOW you make this whole thing for free?? What an amazing resource, I'm going to share it with my neurodiverse friends. Keep up the great work, I hope many many people get to read your work, it's amazing!
Thanks for your heart warming feedback! It's free because I feel that each edition can really help the community and their families and I know so many (especially in other countries) could not afford to pay for it- too many in the US as well. I am hopeful that others will choose to support my work as an act of shared community - those who can afford will so that those who cannot will be able to access it. There doesn't seem to be a bar of enough I can hit to really get people inspired to support this work if they can get it for free. (Other than 2 dear friends and 2 past contributors who have watched me build an edition from the ground up and see how much time goes into one.) Comments like yours mean a lot - and I too hope many many people get to see these monthly editions because I truly feel they can do a lot of good for other neurokin and their families. As for my dreams on making doing what I love and am passionate about and making my work self sustaining someday, I just keep swimming and hoping for the dam to break. Until then, feedback like yours keeps me going. Thanks so so much!
It’s so difficult to make a living of of the things we really enjoy or feel passionate about. But I hope you keep going. I will definitely share your newsletter with our neurodiversity network at work, I know they will appreciate it. And don’t you just love substack, how we can come across each other in a random comment on a post and make each others day :-)
I'm so keen to collaborate with other likeminded souls out there. Podcasts, substacks lives, guest post - I'm here for it :-) I write about creative exploration, going analog and slow living for busy women. I've also done a few podcasts about my move from Belgium to New Zealand and my off the grid lifestyle.
I'm also always looking for people who want to write a guest post about how they have found their experience with going analog or creative exploration and any practical tips they may have for my audience.
Hi again Sophie! How have you been? I'm thinking I could write a guest post for you - I'm not exactly analog, but we "unplugged" from our very traditional modern life in Belgium in 2017 and have since been homeschooling our 2 kids & freelancing from 3 different countries? Let me know if that would be of interest :)
My newsletter is "Writelighter," dedicated to conscious and creative writing tips for writers. I am interested in collaborating with other writing muses about topics like visionary fiction, fantasy, aging, the environment, and Peace.
Right now I'm really seeking people to cross-post / share my work to spread the word. I just launched a new podcast. I'm running a Substack virtual book tour to promote my new Creative Health Cartography workbook. I just want more people to know about it all!
In exchange, I'm happy to share your work as well if it relates in anyway to health affecting creativity (positive/negative/neutral ... I see this broadly). I do a round-up post of inspiring links monthly-ish and would love to include you! And happy to share on Notes and across social media.
I'm making a separate comment for the work I do with FLARE - which is a publication about living with endometriosis. For that one we are looking for people who want to tell their story on the podcast. have a look here: https://flareendo.substack.com/
I would like to talk about the opposing motivations of tuning early chapters for audience retention versus conserving the author's vision for the story. See the essay https://johngdyer.substack.com/p/claudeai-rates-audience-retention for a peek at ClaudeAI's analysis of Maroli Tango's first 15 chapters and a link to the work.

I would also love to write guest posts for other publications, to go live together, or to be interviewed on their podcast. Looking forward to connecting with you!

The Operation-inspired image! Love it!
