I would love to work with other writers on braided essays, guests posts, or as featured guests (I would love to facilitate interviews about recovery and/or motherhood). My blog focuses on recovery from alcoholism -- but really I am interested in living a life with integrity and honesty, parenting well (messily), and interested in human stories.
My work also focuses heavily on my family and the chaotic life that we lead -- we are a blended family -- I have four biological children and four stepchildren. I am eager to share stories of stepfamily life.
Mr. Rogers is my parenting icon, humor is probably my top value, and I believe strongly that the more specific you are, the more universal your story becomes. I want to hear stories that are unique, honest, and raw.
I am open to being a podcast guest although I myself do not currently host a podcast (my husband does, however (called We Aren't Supposed to Talk about This), so I do have all the equipment/set-up for podcasting.
