Who could benefit: Writers feeling creatively paralysed by world events, anyone seeking authentic ways to engage with uncertainty through storytelling, fiction writers wanting to address difficult themes with compassion.
Amanda, your words landed with such tenderness. I love how you frame writing as a form of mindful witnessing—not about solving everything, but about being present and honest in the dark. The idea that our stories can act as small lights feels so hopeful and true. 💙✨

I mostly write to and about midlife women perimenopause and beyond. This post is about the beyond. Who am I now? It's a question we all ask ourselves, especially after menopause.
💜 If you’ve ever felt the world is too loud while you’re just trying to show up for your kids and yourself this piece is an invitation to breathe, reset, and move gently.
Title: Heaven, Spirit and what happens when we die
I wrote this post after my dad passed away. I struggle with the religious truths that I was taught as a child, only to understand them differently in the light of historical research. How do I teach my child about death without involving the complexity of adult depth of understanding? I wrestle with this in the post.
Who could benefit: Those with younger children who have experiencing an animal or a human passing away.
My biggest nemesis is food misinformation. My latest post discusses this, and I’m hosting a workshop this weekend to tackle this topic once and for all.
This is the most important thing I’ve ever written; it took me 57 years to get here. And the last 10 years of draft after draft after draft as well as the deep inner work. I hope you’ll read it. I stand in solidarity and honor the women who spoke on the capital steps last week And demand the release of the Epstein files on their behalf. Thank you. This is an in-depth look at the systemic nature of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and the grooming of girls in our culture through my personal story:
Thanks for this opportunity to share our work at CollabLite, Marcy!
Sept 4, I started a new collaboration series, 'Letters from a Caregiver'
A caregiver writes a letter to their younger self, sharing wisdom, empathy, and compassion. This was the first letter by myself and an introduction to the series. More letters from the Carer Mentor community will follow, every Thursday.
Finding your inner Queen using the Tarot. First installment of the Elemental Tarot Queens series (of four). Posted each full moon through December. I wrote about intuitive tarot.
Who could benefit: Anyone who feels they always have to be the strong one—especially mothers carrying too much. This piece is a gentle pause for weary hearts.
Who could benefit: for foster and adoptive families, honoring our children’s past can feel complex and overwhelming. This piece of short micro prose names that complexity but also gives permission for embracing simplicity and connection in little moments that have big impact.
Breeann, this piece stopped me in my tracks. The way you wove memory, motherhood, and strawberries together felt so tender. Thank you for putting words to something so layered and offering such a gentle invitation toward connection. 💖🍓
Thank you for this, Marcy!

LIFE ISN'T ALWAYS HEAVY. SOMETIMES IT'S GOOD.
I wrote this for parents or anyone who feels a renewed sense of wonder and awe when in the presence of children during ordinary moments.

Jeannie, I loved this reflection—Thank you for the reminder that even in seasons of heaviness, life still gifts us moments of lightness and delight. 💖
Thanks for commenting, Catherine. I appreciate that.
