December Call for Collaboration

Our December connection thread is OPEN

Happy December!

This is not the easiest month to make time to connect, but I still want to give us all the opportunity to make some new friends/potential collaborators and to set intentions for the coming year around collaboration.

Head into the comments and share:

1. The category you write in and/or the topics you write about

2. The name of your publication with a link to it

3. Your intention(s) for collaboration on Substack in 2025 (and if intention doesn’t resonate, name one goal you have for collaboration)

Once you’ve shared your information, start connecting! Browse the other comments and reach out to someone who writes in a similar category or who has an intention/goal that speaks to you.

And remember, NO pressure to make a collaboration happen this month! Simply meet and cheer each other on. Perhaps you end up restacking or cross-posting each other’s work or writing a recommendation. Do whatever feels natural and genuine and works with the space/time you have this month.

Reminder: Join the Directory

There’s still time to become part of the CollabStack Directory before I launch it in January. The Directory is a listing of publications/newsletters currently open to featuring other writers or creators. Think of this as similar to posting an ad or creating a promo to get other writers to submit their work to you, or to invite them to pitch a specific collaboration idea.

By creating this directory, we’ll have one easy place to go to find publications that have their doors open for collaboration.

And one important note: This will NOT replace any threads like these that I create, and I have every intention of creating new, fun ways for all of us to connect in 2025 that are much more interactive. Stay tuned!
