3. I am creating space for more lovely, like-minded individuals to share their unique wisdom, magic, and stories through guest hosting/posting for my publication and podcast, the Soul Journaling Sessions in 2025, at least once per month. I also hold the intention to value collaboration over comparison and competition in 2025.
I'd absolutely love to collab!! Bringing out a self-healing journal in January, so it's wonderful to see that you literally focus on this!! As somebody who has gone through mental health issues, heartbreaks, grief, setbacks, I've always found healing through journaling and now want to share that. Let's dm - id love to connect 🫂
Hi Grace! So sorry for my delayed reply, I was traveling a lot this holiday season with two little ones. But I'd love to connect further! I just subscribed to your publication so I could check things out. The self-healing journal sounds amazing and like something I'd like to share with my community.
Hi Laurie! Sorry for my delayed reply, I was out for much of the holidays traveling, but I'd love to connect further. I'll reach out via DM this week once I've settled back into work.
I absolutely love this! I write about all things spiritual in the self-development category, usually including some yogic philosophy like Buddhism or Taoism, etc. My intention is to network with other writers and promote eachothers work. I’m also releasing my 2nd book in 2025 about “soulmates.” My publication here ✨ https://open.substack.com/pub/jasmineclemente
I'm also interested in meditation and combining with art making and journaling. My background is in art and art therapy. https://substack.com/@lauriemavesart
Your intention(s) for collaboration on Substack in 2025 (and if intention doesn’t resonate, name one goal you have for collaboration): My goal is to have more yoga teachers share their writing about the asanas on my Substack and also to feature my students (most of whom are writers on Substack) from my Bodylove Poetry Writing Workshop more.
My "Stories With Shell" blog is for those who feel they have been lost at some point or hit a brick wall and must gather themselves back together to move toward a strong sense of identity & purpose. What makes us who we are? Our stories indeed help shape us--even the messy ones.
I would like to have a guest post (or a few) sometime in the future from someone who writes about family background & how telling our stories help all of us climb to higher ground.
Hi Shell! Thanks so much for sharing, and I couldn't agree more--our stories definitely shape us. I often talk about how journaling helps us uncover (and rewrite) our stories.
I will keep a lookout for anyone who might be good fit for you to collaborate with!
3. My goal is to find more effortless + rewarding ways to collab with kindreds (a.k.a. people who just get me, and me them) - ways that feel good, come natural, and don't take a lot of time. I want the kind of collabs that feel like acts of kindness that spread endless ripples. If you're into all the ooey-gooey human stuff, I'd la la loooove to chat. DM me anytime. 🌭
Thanks for doing these threads, Marcy!! I've found the best people + have a bunch of collabs already lined up for the new year. 🫶
I’d love to connect! Been putting my health first above everything for nearly 7 years. It cost me all that wasn’t meant for me and gained me all that was. I’ll send you a DM.
3. In 2025 I'm growing my space for Queenagers, writing about midlife, how to flourish, and reminders that it's possible. I'm planning a book clubbish thing, workshops, and virtual meetups, with 6 collaborations already planned. I'm open to suggestions regarding topics and the how if anyone is interested!
I would be so interested in joining you for a conversation in how to be in midlife bravely. I feel we have an opportunity to rewrite or push back against the predominant scripts. This is an amazing time of life--yet so many women fear it and loathe it. I would love to talk into that more deeply and try to change the messaging. <3
In 2025, I am opening up space to collaborate with women through podcasts, newsletters, webinars, public speaking (I’m in LA) or some other brilliant project - the Universe can fill in those details. 💜🔮✨
Hi Shaunte! I write about healing trauma at the intersections of mental health, creativity, and spirituality and include suggested Tarot spreads in most of my posts. I’d love to explore a cross-post/guest post collab.
1. Motherhood & womanhood in a burning world — so far this has consisted of personal essays about navigating the “mother” identity, but I’m working to expand to talk more about abortion access and reproductive justice (as well as to lean deeper into “cat lady” as a form of resistance)
3. I’m still playing around what this will look like, but I want to do more around the idea of motherhood and selfishness, specifically dismantling the notion that becoming a mother must mean leaving behind all your other identities. It may be audio interviews or guest posts, it I want to amplify stories of mothers who became MORE themselves after having children.
Hi Iva! Thanks so much for sharing! Love what you are thinking of doing for collaboration in the future, and I think you'll find many mothers here on Substack that would be a good fit. I believe that I became more myself after having children, despite it being hard to have time to create nearly as much as I want to! (I have a two-year-old and a 5-month-old.)
Hi everyone, I've commented previously (thanks Marcy, for all of this!) but have been slow to collaborate. You know, the best intentions and all that, but...
1 Teacher by Trade, Mentor by Mistake - I'm a [former] long-time EFL teacher who's been through a lot, to put it mildly. I'm a cranky Gen Xer with a LOT on my mind that I want to get off.
3 I've experimented with audio posts and in 2025 I want to start doing more of this, with guests and collaborators. I have quite a few subscribers who are language learners and a lot of people who read my posts from outside Substack but don't subscribe - why? Because a lot of them live in Eastern Europe (I taught in Ukraine for 13 years and left just before the full-scale invasion in Feb 2022) and Substack is still relatively unknown there. I'm trying to get more of my followers to engage within Substack as a language resource. I believe strongly in exposing them to authentic materials and this is a growing audience eager for more content that isn't the usual 'news' or websites or dull language learning apps.
I have plenty of subscribers who are more active on Substack and have their own newsletters, and they are the ones engaging with me the most. I'm really trying to get that huge potential non-Anglo readership and I want to share with them a range of distinct voices. I think this might work better in an audio/podcast/interview format.
(sorry for my rambling, it's a bad habit, all English teachers tend to do this!)
Daniel I love your energy and enthusiasm around bringing Substack writers to new audiences and vice versa. The world is a much more deeply dimensional place than the yakkity take talking heads and headlines would have it be. I look forward to learning more!
1. Hi everyone I am passionate about steering people into living a life of glow, which means making time for self love with plenty of self care nuggets thrown in. I also create mindful colouring books that are filled with motivational affirmations to help empower us through life’s journey’s. I have just published my latest book, called The Mindful Menopause as I think it is important to shine a light on this (often overlooked) subject.
3. In 2025 I am interested in learning/starting an audio podcast to share soothing affirmations and guided meditations about Well-being! I am also keen to develop my writing style and create a range of e-courses further down the line. For now, here in substack, I am having fun and learning every day. Collaboration feels a bit scary at the moment, but I will not deny myself that experience at some point.
Hi Liz! Thank you so much for sharing! I love the sound of your coloring books. I hope you explore collaboration in 2025--my hope is that having a community like this will make it a little less overwhelming or scary. Collaborations don't have to be big projects. It can be just you writing one guest post for someone or having someone come on as a guest on your podcast. I have people "guest host" my podcast and read their essays, and I just do an intro and outro, and that's been a lovely way to feature new voices.
3. In 2025, I am looking for like-hearted guests to exchange and collaborate with. I envision a series in An Inviting Spacee called "Practice Sessions." I am looking for creatives on or off Substack who feel they are thriving (or, maybe struggling, but keeping on keeping on) who want to share something of themselves--open to a variety of visions: share your writing, share your art, share a practice, or a curated tour of some kind. Some elements will be shared with my entire list and something will be saved for behind the paywall. tbd and perhaps tbd in conversation with collaborators--it can look different for different people! I value collaboration, conversation, community. "Wisdom comes through the collective." It's in the in-between that things emerge!
Hi Sarah, I love your vibe and “Practice Sessions” sounds so cool. I’d love to connect and hear more about your vision for this and how we might collab. My Substack explores healing trauma at the intersections of mental health, spirituality, and creativity, and I want to expand the creativity piece in 2025.
My newsletter: ROAR Healing Relationship Trauma helps folks heal wounds in our relationships with self, others, and the collective at the intersections of mental health, creativity, and spirituality. Each week, I share a mini essay inspired by my work as a trauma therapist, reflection questions, and a suggested Tarot spread. You can check it out here: https://roarhealingrelationshiptrauma.substack.com
I’m looking for guest post or cross posting collabs, to be a guest on folks’ podcasts, eventually to have guests on my podcast, which I’m planning to launch in 2025, and other creative collaborative configurations.
3. I am putting together a collaborative event celebrating the life of a beloved historical fiction author. We will write short historical fiction instalments based on a prompt, which we will all publish on the same day, with a roundup. I’ll share more concrete details closer to the time - but let me know if you’re interested.
Thank you so much for sharing this, Holly! What a cool idea for collaboration, and I can't wait to check it out when it is live! I am glad to have fiction writers here, though I know we need more of you. I will keep an eye out for you and let any fiction writers know about this!
3. I’ve just created a playful, inclusive space for writers and readers of sex-positive and LGBTQIA2S+ content and would love to receive submissions for publication. I’m aiming for 2-3 posts per month. The SexStack was started by Rebecca Ferguson (me), publisher of the “3000 Orgasms” Substack, and I’m looking forward to hearing from the amazing creators in the sex-positive space, especially those with less than 1000 subscribers.
Rebecca, I might be interested in something, I have an idea that I really want to write about, but it's not at all part of whatever niche I'm going for on my Substack. It's something that I'm eager to explore, but let me first delve into yours a bit further (I swear, I've had a few of your posts open on my browser for ages, there are like 200 at the moment!)
I'll share a few more details of my own newsletter in a separate note.
Hi Rebecca, I don’t write about sex super often, but I’d love to write about it more! I’ve followed you and I’ll circle back on SexStack when I have something that may be a fit.
Hello! I wrote about finding Joy in Story. I’m a certified journaling expert, SLP and book coach in training. I should just say I’m a certified word-nerd! I discuss how journaling can improve your narrative - writing your chapters one day at a time. Be your best main character!
Hi Karen! Thanks so much for sharing, I love this, as I write about journaling too! I'm an ex-journalist and communications director, not certified in journaling specifically (I didn't even know such a certification existed!) but I'm a lifelong journaler, certified psych-sensitive yoga teacher, and soon-to-be certified Oracle/Tarot reader. Journaling is the method I use to enhance these practices. I'd love to talk about you having you on as a guest on my publication/podcast sometime in 2025! I can share more details in the DMs if you're interested.
I am absolutely interested. How fascinating that you are an Oracle / Tarot reader. I’d love to hear how you use journaling with this. I was asked to spearhead a writing program for cancer patients and survivors so I searched for a program that would ground my classes in education. It is a therapeutic writing/ journaling certification.
Hello! My name is Alicia. I write about the hard stuff, overcoming our conditioning to discovering and being in the essence of our truth, joy! I write about creating a life with ease and grace. I am here to connect and collaborate on every way possible. One of my core values is community!
Thanks so much for sharing, Alicia! I'll continue to look for anyone you could connect with, and I still would love to explore something for us to do in 2025--I think you could be a great guest host for the Soul Journaling Sessions podcast!
1. Journaling & Spirituality - Journaling to channel the soul and higher self

Yep. Cross posted one of hers recently. First time I’d done it!
